Laurenz Prader is a multilingual actor based in London. A 2024 graduate of the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama , Prader began his professional career in Vienna, appearing in several prominent Austrian television productions. Shakespear’s Globe in London in der Titelrolle als King Lear.

Following his initial training in Vienna, Laurenz Prader collaborated with notable Austrian directors such as Claudia Jüptner-Jonstorff, Eva Spreitzhofer and Chris Raiber for the biggest austrian channel ORF. His television credits include Vienna Crime Squad and SOKO Linz. Oliver Kienle Prader is set to make his English-language feature film debut in an upcoming project by award-winning director Oliver Kienle

On stage, Laurenz Prader performed the lead role of Tereus in ‚The Love of a Nightingale‘ at London’s Corbett Theatre. At the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Prader garnered critical acclaim for The Thin Place, a production he co-wrote, co-directed, and starred in. His further english film credits include the title role in The Downfall of Tray the Wonderhorse, directed by Robyn Rainsford (Royal Court Theatre).

In 2025, Laurenz Prader received international recognition for his directorial debut, SNOWFLAKES, in which he also stars. The film won the Best Short Film Award at the CIFF, with the achievement being cited by major trade publications including Variety and the LA Times.

Prader has a background in competitive athletics, having played soccer, basketball, and volleyball from a young age. At age 17, Laurenz Prader transitioned into martial arts and intensive strength and fitness training, which he continues to practice. He holds an EU passport and a UK work visa. He is represented by Tracey Bell at Red Door Management (UK) and Screenactors (Austria/Germany).
